About Identity UK
Identity UK is the premier hair & beauty salon for Shoreditch and Hoxton. It is the first salon that successful hairdresser Tony Hegarty has owned. Since Tony first opened the doors back in June 2000, the salon has gone from strength to strength, gaining a deserved reputation for providing excellent quality at a fraction of the cost of other salons of our calibre.
Our aim has always been to expertlly and professionally cater for all hair types equally well, and we have an unrivalled reputation in the hair industry to be able to cope with afro, European, Mixed-race and Asian hair in such a manner.
Within a year of opening, we had already been awarded the maximum five star rating from the Good Salon Guide (the hairdressing equivalent to the AA Hotel Rating System). We were the first hairdressers in Shoreditch and Hoxton to have this rating - your guarantee of a first class level of service, comfort and facilities from our highly trained and experienced team.
In November 2003, we were awarded three awards from Blackhair Magazine in association with Revlon Professional:
- Salon of the Year
- Stylist of the Year - Tony Hegarty
- Junior Stylist of the Year - Kelly Murdock
In addition, Identity UK was awarded second place in the annual national L'Oreal autumn/ Winter Colour Collection Competition 2003. Not bad for a salon that was only 3 and half years old!
Aims
Our aim is to make every one of our clients as relaxed and comfortable as possible whilst in the salon. We are professional without being intimidating. All our stylists carry out their own work (colouring, cutting, styling and dressing). Every client will leave our salon with a first class haircut that hasn’t broken the bank!
Identity UK also offers a comprehensive and exclusive range of beauty treatments, including facials, pedicures, manicures and false tanning, as well as complementary therapies such as massage. We use the very best products such as Dermalogica, Fake Bake and Essie in our beauty treatments, which are also available to buy from us.
