Farewell from ID:UK

It is with the deepest regret that we have to inform you that as of Sunday 29th January 2012 Identity UK will be closing down.
Due to the current economic climate we have decided to concentrate on our first love - hairdressing and relinquish the obstacles faced in keeping a business afloat during a very difficult recession.
Tony and Jenny will be working together locally at The Pamper Rooms, 24 Curtain Road, London, EC2A 3NG so appointments can still be made by calling 07847 913826.
They will continue to provide the high level of service, care and professionalism that Identity UK is famous for, just in a different location.

We want to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support and loyalty over the last 11 years, it has been a pleasure to work with such amazing clients. We have been very touched by all your goodbye wishes; it has been really moving to learn how much we meant to you.

November Trend Alert
So what’s trending this month? Did you know that everyone is talking about the #AMA’s? That is the 2011 American Music Awards! It seemed to be the night for performing ex’s with J-Lo and Marc Anthony taking to the stage separately to perform, as well as Katy Perry and the Gym Class Heroes, fronted by Katy's ex Travis McCoy. Now she's seemingly settled in her personal life, Katy Perry is definitely no stranger to changing her image more than her men. So this month we take a look at Katy’s rainbow-coloured hair.
Black beauty – Katy Perry burst onto our screens in 2008, claiming to have kissed a girl and liked it. This risqué debut single got us all talking about this feisty songstress and it was impossible to deny that not only was she talented but she also looked great. Her jet black hair complemented her huge blue eyes no end, she was a welcomed change from the blondes that had dominated the charts for so long. This was our favourite Katy look, classic and polished.
Splash of colour – We started to see Katy’s colourful side come out when she was seen on the red carpet sporting some colourful clip ins. These are a great way to add a bit of fun to classic style without damaging your hair. This styling process has helped many celebs of recent adopt the dip-dye trend, by clipping in coloured extensions.
Wacky wigs – As Katy rose further and further up the fame ladder, her hairstyles seemed to be competing with her stardom, wearing bright blue and purple wigs on stages and red carpets galore. Using wigs to change hair colour is another risk-free way of trying something different, although we’re not quite sure an everyday type of person would want bright blue hair, Katy definitely made it work.
Colour confusion – Eventually Katy bit the bullet and hit the bottle and in the space of just a few months we have seen ginger go to blonde and then blonde go to bright pink. We’re not quite sure how many of these colour choices were to stay, but the rapid change suggests that Katy wasn’t yet finished with her colour transformation. Although pretty in pink, we wonder how long she will stick with her current style, but one thing’s for certain – there aren’t many colours left in the rainbow to try!
